How to Quarantine + Heal.
Are you making the most out of your quarantine time? No, I am not talking about those crazy post that if you don't emerge with a new skill or business that you didn't do anything. BUMP THAT. If you want to learn something new or do something new, DO THAT ISH on your own terms. Don't feel as though you have to because the world says so. But real talk, I am talking about getting rest. Healing. Forgiving. Growing spiritually. Let's talk sis.
I am an introvert. I know it doesn't seem like it because of Ritual Bae, but I enjoy the indoors, chilling, and just clearing my head. I love being alone and just being at peace. So when it was announced there would be a stay at home order, I was like YYEESSSSS. I knew it would be the perfect time to do some healing and dealing. As you know Ritual Bae technically has been on a hiatus since December, so needless to say, it was time for me to get my shit together. I put together a small list of things you can do to make great use of this quarantine. Time to quarantine + heal.
1.) SLEEP. The mind and the body heals when you are sleeping. I am not saying sleep your life away, but get the rest bae. You have been GRINDING and I see you, but now would be the perfect time to get those 8 hours of rest. Your skin, energy, and overall mind will thank you.
2. CREATE. How often would you create something if you had the time? I know I would A LOT MORE OFTEN. You have the time now, so create something. It's an amazing stress reliever and honestly could be your million dollar ticket. It's been on your to do list dammit, so do it, today.
3. TAKE MORE BATHS. Of course, I'm Ritual Bae so I would say that. However, there is a method to the madness here. Showers are amazing, but let's face it, it does not allow you to relax like a great bath does. Take more time and take more baths. You deserve it.
4. INNER CHILD WORK. This is a major component of healing. I started inner child work and it allowed me the space to grow in other ways. Inner child work is work you would merely do to the heal the inner child in you that may have experienced some trauma. It's amazing to do. Take a look.
5. LOVE ON YOU. Love yourself my love. When I tell you know one will love you like you, I mean it. Do whatever you need to do in order to feel good, and BE GOOD. Flowers, chocolate, working out, WHATEVER. Take care.
Lastly, don't let anyone tell you HOW to spend this quarantine or make you feel bad for not doing things their way. Read, and you make the decision. Just dedicate the time to be a better version of you, no matter what that may be. Be good and safe, and before you go drop some ideas on what to do this quarantine.
